Yesterday, shortly after Biden was declared the winner of the election, my beautiful daughter in law gave birth to a healthy baby boy. A new grandson! So I’m kind of happied out right now. We’ve got some bumpy weeks ahead, but I’ll start thinking about that tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. That’s an order!

    Popped the cork on a bottle of wine last night. I'm reading different opinions on Trump's concession. My guess is that it's a transaction to Trump. "They" want something I owe them, but I won't pay unless I get something extra. 

    You don't think Trump is offering a graceful concession and complete cooperation in exchange for a guarantee he won't be prosecuted? Will Biden consider the offer? Probably not for two reasons – first, Biden really doesn't like Trump. Second, until Biden has a complete list of crimes, it would be a blank check. 

    What I expect Joe to do is ignore 1600 Pennsylvania in the transition and go directly to the agencies for information and to give instruction. That will be a stone wall from DOJ and the State Department but it would be anyway. Other agencies are gonna give Trump the finger and do business with the new boss because that's where the power is.

    Occasionally, something reminds us that life goes on, after all.  It's not always so grand as a new life, but, when it is, we can find a happiness that was deeply hidden.
