I’m just not up for Tales of the Stupid today. Please feel free to comment on whatever though.
FYI, you can watch the first episode of John Oliver’s HBO show on YouTube.

It’s Sunday, and as we followers of The FSM say, “Que Pasta?!?!?!”
As for a further comment, I just dealt my best hand on the last post – the very, VERY ANTI-GAY NC politician who was a drag queen at a gay nightclub, and who’s name there was Mona Sinclair.
I thought this was kind of silly. I saw the headline “How to win any Piketty debate,” and I thought, “This really ought to be pretty short: Read the book.” But no, instead we get the Cliffs notes.
I received my California Primary Election voter guide (published by the state, and mailed to every voter prior to an election). For your amusement, I give you Dr Orly Taitz Esq., birther extraordinaire, and her statement as to what she will do if elected Attorney General of the State of California:
(CNN) — Condoleezza Rice, former US secretary of state announced on Facebook Saturday that she would not be speaking at the Rutgers University commencement this year, following student protests against her appearance.
The students made accusations against her in connection with the war in Iraq.
“Commencement should be a time of joyous celebration for the graduates and their families,” Rice wrote.
“Rutgers’ invitation to me to speak has become a distraction for the university community at this very special time.”
In an open letter to the president of the school, printed in the student paper The Daily Targum on April 30th, “Rutgers Student Protestors” cited “destruction” in Iraq “at the hands of the Bush administration.”
“Rice signed off to give the CIA authority to conduct their torture tactics for gathering information from detainees as well,” the letter continues. “These are clearly human rights issues. By inviting her to speak and awarding her an honorary degree, we are encouraging and perpetuating a world that justifies torture and debases humanity.”
There’s a pattern of conservatives cancelling when confronted with student opposition – and a lot of Bush alumni simply can’t travel abroad for fear of arrest.
I suppose when a person does really bad things it eventually bites them in the ass.
I agree with Maha..Maybe I too should give the tales of the stupid a break…But a day without ragging on the Repugs is like a day without sunshine for me..my life would be incomplete if I didn’t toss at least one little barb at the Repug monster.
I was glad to see that the Repugs got good exposure at the Correspondence Dinner last night concerning their overt covert racism, or is that covert overt racism? Well, what ever it is it’s good to see the Repugs wearing it. It’s well earned.
Dr Orly Taitz is gonna have a lot nullifying to do in jurisdictions that will be outside of her nullifying ability if she ever gets elected.
I thought orly’s 15 minutes of fame was over. The brain killing disease is spreading.
