He was always funny, and did so much to keep me sane during the Bush years. I just happened to visit his site yesterday, and saw that nothing had been updated for a few weeks. There was a lot there about his trip to Colorado for some legal weed, which I just assumed was for recreational purposes. He’ll be missed.
He wasn’t the first blogger “i-Friend” that I lost (Melanie Mattson “Just a Bump in the Beltway”, and Oldman of BopNews were two other losses). When Oldman passed, I actually sent a card to his family, I felt so much loss when he died.
Bartcop was just so down to earth, and so guy-next-door, so damned funny, and so unafraid to call BS (“swing the hammer” as he called it) on the GOP and any weenie Democrats.
What moonbat said!
We’ll ALL miss him!
And where am I going to find my morning cartoon and comics laughts?
RIP Bart.
You brought a lot of laughs to us Liberals, and were a thorn in the ass to Conservatives.
YA DONE GOOD!!!
RIP.
