Under educated losers, race and women problems, no real savings so why not default? I quess it’s time. President Obama should just resign. How else can we avoid bankruptcy. Hey we tried to have a black president it just didn’t work out? No hard feelings.

  8. Two things: Did anyone catch Rachel Maddow speaking about the debt ceiling fight during the Carter years? I don’t know if there is a clip of it anywhere but if you can find it , it certainly is worth watching.

    Now, it could be I am wrong here. And I would love to be. But I am a big picture person. When this happened I asked myself “Why is cruz doing this? ” Well ok so we all know they HATE ACA , but couldn’t repeal it. But they were not asking for a repeal. They told the American people they wanted the same year extension as big business was getting. But did they have a vote on that in congress? Doesn’t that seem a little strange that rather than vote to get that extension made law the closed down the government because “Obama wouldn’t do it?” Correct me if I am wrong about how bills become law thing works but can Obama wave a magic wand and say ” I change you law”?- instead of shutting down the government don’t they send him a passed bill to sign? If he had changed the law , using some magic wand, instead of carrying out his sworn oath to uphold existing law , would that not be an impeachable offense? They yell he won’t compromise but does he have the authority to just go grab the books and re- write every law he wants to all by himself? If he does have that power, can’t they just go home? And IF they believe he had the power to change ACA , why don’t they believe he has that same power with regard to the debt ceiling?

    Now I know , your chompin at the bit to tell me how I am missing their “REAL GOAL” which is stopping ACA from being law . But I believe it is EVERYONE ELSE who is missing the real goal and it is much larger than ACA. Their plan is to take down our country, ACA and Obama’s legacy are bonus damage.

    I am not smart, nor evil enough to know how it will look when they are done but I am afraid for my country for the first time since bush. I believe whether Obama himself raises the debt ceiling or not they will impeach him for it either way. I believe if he does that we will be seen as a credit risk . It won’t be as bad as default, however it will increase the interest rate the nation pays on it’s debt.

    And I know, I know , the senate will NEVER remove him from office but you know congress WILL impeach him, which will make it impossible for things to get any better for the country fiscally- people stop caring who is at fault and they want change because the crash is going to squeeze us to death- then in 2016 people just want a change.. who was in charge? Dems. After 3 years of being broke, their interest rates sky rocketing people will be focused on their own pain, they wont have time to keep score of who was at fault after a 1000 days into the beat down. People who are suffering are easy to sell a bill of goods. They will hear what they want to believe. Be afraid , be very afraid.
