I am in awe —

… if there’s one thing that Chuck Grassley is noted for, it is that he is the most spectacular box of rocks, the most bulging bag of hammers, in the history of the World’s Greatest Deliberative Body. If brains were atom bombs, he couldn’t blow his nose. If his IQ was one point lower, they’d have to water him. As the great Dan Jenkins once put it in another context, if the man had a brain, he’d be out in the yard playing with it.

It’s almost poetry.

  2. I don’t know, the race for the bottom, as the “Dumbest Conservative MFer in the Senate,” is pretty steep!

    I think John Thune’s so mindless, he wants to masturbate every time he sees his own image on TV or in the mirror:
    “Him good-looking over there. Him me? Really? I’m so pretty… Oh, so pretty…”

I think every Republican in Congress needs to be given a copy of “Miss Manners’ Guide to Excruciatingly Correct Behavior.” Once they receive a copy, they will be required to read the whole book before another session of Congress begins. These guys are becoming barbarians just because they don’t like the color of the skin of the President of the United States of America. If any of these guys’ mothers are still alive, they are probably embarrassed to death because the lack of good manners is always blamed on the mother. And, I agree with Maha that the above piece is almost poetry.

  4. Hey you wanna know whats even worse. He is actually SMART compared to our states gov. We call him Gov braindead(branstad)–and then there is king who is a national shame..and then there is my ex boss state rep kent sorenson..oh geez dont even get me started…….

    But we do have something WORTH seeing here in Iowa..WE have bald eagles..(beams with pride) and they are smart. And derbyshire could take parenting lessons from them. Their nest has a 24/7 web cam you HAVE to see.. There are 3 baby eaglets all born in the last 10 days you gotta see. I am clueless as how to post a link but it is DECORAH EAGLES (Decorah Iowa),,if you google it you will find a link..but I warn you its addictive…:))

  6. See one bag of hammers, you’ve seem them all. I have personally had the pleasure of sitting at the same table, a couple of years ago, with people who were repeatedly referring to Obama as “Stupid” — that is, as a name, not a description. They were also praising the smart people who at the time were addressing the national Tea Party gathering, most notably Sarah Palin.

    What Deep South state was this in? Well, the same one that San Francisco is in, about 10 miles from where I sat. So, as to Senator Grassley of Iowa: no surprise, but why did it take him so long to pick up the meme?
