Those of you who enjoyed David Frum’s takedown of Charles “The Bell Curve” Murray will want to read Frum’s new piece, “What the Founders Would Tell Charles Murray.”
Unrelated, but this is so cute:

Actually, I think she’s an even BETTER politician than Barack is – hard to believe as that may be.
Why is it that I’d love to see a Michelle Obama/Elizabeth Warren ticket, or a Warren/Obama one in 2016 – or, 2020.
Or a MichelleObama/Sherrod Brown, or Sherrod Brown/Michelle Obama one.
Or, a Michelle Obama and “Fill in the ______________”. Maybe even Cuomo (yuck – but better than any Republican alternative).
She’s the greatest FLOTUS since Jackie Kennedy.
OT, don’t know if you’ve been following Doonesbury this week, but Trudeau is finally tackling the whole idea of how conservatives live in a reality of their own making. If you missed it, hit Prev and Next to see each strip in this week’s series.
It’s interesting to think back on the First Ladies and remember their salient traits. Michelle Obama is obviously very intelligent but she also exudes health and fitness. She is the only first lady I remember that not only seemed physically fit, but athletic.
Here’s me still laughing over Jimmy Fallon’s Tebowie (“This is Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow/Please leave me alone/Don’t you know my day of rest is Sunday/And I’m sick of watching all these Broncos games….”), and then he goes and has a slo-mo sack race with the First Lady. Hi-larious. (OK, it also sounds rather naughty.) But I loves me some silly Jimmy these days. And always some silly Michelle!
Thanks for posting the video, Maha – just delightful! I agree with c u n d gulag about M. Obama and E. Warren sharing a ticket, that would be a dream come true. In the meantime – I am totally enjoying David Frum’s righteous skewering of the odious Murray, and look forward to reading his latest.
FYI: The Feedburner RSS Feed for Mahablog seems to be out of service. Has anyne noticed? Does anyone use this/care?
Pat — I just checked — the RSS feed does seem to be out of service. I’ll look into it. I don’t know how to fix it though.
