One of the heroes of the Iraq war. As with Howard Dean & Cindy Sheehan, it took great courage for Murtha, early on, to criticise a war the White House had promoted so heavily & dishonestly.
There was a good deal of bitter to go along with the sweet.
I’ll choose to remember the sweet.
I’ll leave it up to FOX and the other conservatives who have access to the media to remind everyone of what was bitter. Bitter is what they do best… Hell, it’s all they know.
Murtha had the courage to tell what we knew, that the Iraq war was a huge blunder.
You know how O’Reilly/Malkin/other idiots at Fox/ always complain about the comments found on blogs like Daily Kos? Just saw the comments at the Fox news site regarding Murtha’s passing, and lets just say it wasn’t pretty.
But of course, IOKIYAR.
