I’m reminded of something Hitler said, “I follow my course with the precision and security of a sleepwalker.” Well, that takes care of personality types all too familiar in today’s American government.
Add to that what DOD chair, Cheney, said in 1992. “In the ME and Southwest Asia our objective is to remain the predominant outside power in the regions and preserve US and western access to the regions’ oil.”
We might keep the two in mind as we go, lemming-like, over the cliff.
