How sweet it is!
It was a great game!
The Boston Globe already had a book on the Patriots’ undefeated season ready to roll, presumably with a last chapter to be written tonight. It was going to be on sale a week from Tuesday. Oops. (Publishers Lunch says there’ll be no book now.)
Even I, who hate football (though I’m married to the biggest Canadian fans of the Giants ever to live), watched the last few plays of the game.
I only watched the last quarter, but I’m glad I did. That was some good football.
After Tom Petty finished singing “American Girl,” I went back to my book.
But I love an underdog victory… yay Giants!
