While we’re waiting for New Hampshire results — ABC reports that turnout is “absolutely huge.” Lots of people give a damn. Maybe democracy in America isn’t dead yet.

It isn’t Republicans turning out, either.
According to CNN, only 26% of registered voters in NH are Dems. As it stands right now, 58.4% overall voted in the Democratic primary, and 41.6% in the Republican.
That’s great news!
Yes, people do give a damn… and how can they show it?
I’ve written reams of emails and some actual letters, and made a bunch of phone calls… to very little end. I’m just ignored by the media outlets, unless I’m a part of a short-lived controversy, which then gets kicked under the rug until next time.
I’d love to march, but with a chronically sick family member at home, I can’t.
And what else is there? So I do find this news encouraging.
It particularly steams me when some bobblehead speaks about an issue and rhetorically asks, “Where’s the outrage?” It’s there, I know, I’m part of it. But I’m being ignored.
And so are the marches, for the most part.
