Well, I’m back. I bet you’d given up on me. My web host has been having massive technical problems.
I have to turn off comments for a little while, because I had to eliminate spam filters. It’s complicated. I hope to post something tomorrow, if I can remember now.
Update: Well, I tried to turn off comments, but there’s still a comment box. I have to keep moderation on.
WELCOME BACK!!!!!
I can see the site for the first time in two days and I’m damn glad I can.
(oh, and BTW…. comments are back on 🙂
I wasn’t sure if I was twit filtered, but I deduced by researching the askimet fatal error message that I became spam. I was beginning to feel hopeless until I realized that hopeless would be George Bush trying to rehabilitate his legacy against all that has transpired in his presidency. The New York Times featured a wonderful year end editorial citing Bush’s seven year train of deceptions, lies, abuses, mistakes, and basic criminal behaviors. It will be a lovely page in history.
Welcome back, Maha..
Good to have you back, Maha…
Was beginin’ to think you’d hauled off to Iowa and got trapped in Primghar, or someplace…
Could just picture you as Queen of the Corn Palace…
The Corn Palace is in South Dakota. Don’t ask me why I know, but it is amazing the decorative effects you can create with just cobs and grains of corn. The sparrows enjoy it, too.
South Dakota, Eh?
OK, I’ll buy that…Only time I was ever in either state was when I was 16 (1961)…
But MahaBarb sure as hell ain’t no sparrow…
The Gal’s an Eagle if ever there was one…
Oh…And a Owl, too…
I used to have a picture of the Corn Palace as a screensaver. It has an interesting architectual flavor and beauty. And I imagine that in its heyday the locals must have thought they hit the big time when they visited the Corn Palace
