  1. You know, Michael Brown comes across a lot better on those tapes than George W. Bush does. But this is who we elected. I don’t hate him, but I sure don’t love him.

  2. and Scott McClellan will say it’s a rehash of old news.

I think that Bush has provided so many outrageous lies and deciets that the American people are experiencing a conditioning similar to constant replaying of the video of Rodney King’s beating by the Los Angeles police. After prolonged and repeated exposure to a situation that would normally produce shock or outrage the observer become numb to the defining event. Bush’s steady barrage of lies is wearing down public indignation.

  4. Why do you say this is a really big deal? I mean, of course it is, but then, every incompetent move this maladministration has made since it’s illegal power grab has been, and nothing has ever come of any of that . .. . why shouldn’t this be the same? This gang can do no wrong in the minds of the knuckle draggers in his money worshipping cult.

  5. Maha…

I agree, but I fear the deafened ears of the audience! Bush’s repetoire is replete with theater like a circus… Bush has had so many big deals! But Bushco understands the circus!

    McClellan’s smoke and mirrors?

    Press-tidigitation?

    Dubya’s highwire acts?

With the whole Administration’s problems and answers akin to a three ring circus, its hard for America as a whole to focus on any single act. I fear that this to is just another “death-defyiing” act from which he will once again walk unscathed. I can almost hear the ringmaster bellowing above the roll of the drums….”And in the center ring, ladies and gentlemen, the Amazing Dubya blah, blah , blah…”

  6. Let’s precisely identify the role being played by citizens and bloggers who want to hide or spin newly uncovered truth about Bush behaviors:
Don’t Bush loyalists become criminals themselves, just like the driver of a get-away vehicle , when they aid and abet Bush in ‘getting away with it’, meaning getting away with his lies and deceptions?
I suspect it would be hardest on the religious right to admit to [serving Satan by] abetting deception because they’ve all along been wrapping their loyalties to Bush in blind faith…………a sort of ‘blind immunity to thoughtfulness’ faith which is actually a position of [arrogant] pride for some of them.

Note: there’s a reason I have followed this line to identify the citizen aiders and abettors of political shenanigans: Senator Burns, in response to a charge that he has ethically gamed the U.S. legislative system, retorted that he did it for his constituents……..and they should therefore vote him in for another term! Any constituent who agrees to Burns’ argument is, in my mind, guilty of a willingness to receive stolen goods!

  7. citizens and bloggers who want to hide or spin newly uncovered truth about Bush behaviors:

It’s pretty amazing; a bunch of rightie bloggers today are saying that the Associated Press story is “rewriting history” (e.g., Wizbang) and that the MSM is dishonestly using semantic confusion over the meaning of the word “breach” to make Bush look bad (e.g., Big Lizards). 8. Y’All know that I don’t like bad news and especially when I’m at my ranch. Are we done here? Someone get my dirt bike, I’m going for a ride.

It looks like Michael Brown got “Swiftboated” by his own team. I knew when I saw him testifying before the Senate that he was telling the truth and the video backs this even more strongly.
