The White House posted a rebuttal to yesterday’s Washington Post article, “Asterisks Dot White House’s Iraq Argument” by Dana Milbank and Walter Pincus.
It’s late and I’m not up to deconstructing the White House effort at this hour. I see Stirling Newberry, Matthew Yglesias, and World o’ Crap have already done the job, fortunately.
But I’m pleased the Bushies are responding directly and openly, if not factually, to criticism instead of just spreading rumors that Dana Milbank is a cross-dresser. Karl Rove must still be preoccupied.
I offer these to the Maha:
Proposed Constitional Amendaments:
XXVIII
1. If anyone destroys a human embryo or fetus at whatever term of gestation, they shall be stoned.
2. This shall be interpreted to mean that the woman carrying said embryo or fetus shall be stoned.
3. This shall also mean that any male human being who impregnated the aforesaid woman with an embryo or fetus shall also be stoned.
4. The stoning shall be done by those whithout sin as determined by the Supreme Court of the United States if that determination can be made within thirty (30) days. If it cannot so be made, then the stoning shalll take place at a time and place as determined by any state or local authorities who undertake to do so.

Any President of the United States wno shall make war without a Declartion of War by the Congress of the United Statess hall be impeached and removed from office and stoned by a delegation of military veterans as determined by the Congress Assembled.
