This morning I saw an ABC News report that al Qaeda is planning terrorist attacks in the U.S. on Monday. Seriously, al Qaeda.
CBS News has learned about a potential terror threat for the day before the election.
Sources told CBS News senior investigative producer Pat Milton that U.S. intelligence has alerted joint terrorism task forces that al Qaeda could be planning attacks in three states for Monday. …
… U.S. authorities are taking the threat seriously, though the sources stress the intelligence is still being assessed and its credibility hasn’t been confirmed. Counterterrorism officials were alerted to the threat out of abundance of caution.
A senior FBI official told CBS News, “The counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States. The FBI, working with our federal, state and local counterparts, shares and assesses intelligence on a daily basis and will continue to work closely with law enforcement and intelligence community partners to identify and disrupt any potential threat to public safety.”
And it would be the FBI leaking this, wouldn’t it? It’s like the fake terror alert the Bush Administration put out just before the 2004 election, which is credited with tipping the election to Bush. Somebody wants to mess with our heads.
Deep antipathy to Hillary Clinton exists within the FBI, multiple bureau sources have told the Guardian, spurring a rapid series of leaks damaging to her campaign just days before the election.
Current and former FBI officials, none of whom were willing or cleared to speak on the record, have described a chaotic internal climate that resulted from outrage over director James Comey’s July decision not to recommend an indictment over Clinton’s maintenance of a private email server on which classified information transited.

But now everything in the news is suspect. Google is running a tribute to Walter Cronkite today. We need a Cronkite now; someone who can speak with authority to the nation about what’s really going on.
We can’t run a democracy this way.

The integrity of the FBI has really been damaged by these out of control “rogue agents” acting on unilaterally on “evidence” that is nothing more than your garden variety wingnut Clinton conspiracy theories. And because of politics, the President and Attorney General are hamstrung in bringing the hammer down; leaking is illegal to begin with, let alone doing so as a federal employee to sway elections in violation of the Hatch Act. Some say in order for that there has to be “intent.” Well how much more intent do you need to have then to hear these jokers claim they are doing it because they hate Hillary? Arrrghhh!!!!

If the FBI is colluding with the Trump campaign by providing it with information about plans to use leaks to its benefit, if that ain’t illegal I don’t know what is. If this were Clinton it would be the LEAD story from the time this bombshell was dropped, and yet the Trump team has normalized corruption and crazy to the extent that they can get away with anything. I wish I had the magic words to alert my fellow American to what a massive mistake they’d be making in voting for Trump..The best I can come up with is the biblical admonition..You shall know them by their fruits. When you look at the trail of misery that Trump has left in his wake it’s not hard to understand the wisdom of that admonishment.
Divorices that ended with marital relationships so bitter that they had be locked down in secrecy by way of severe financial penalties imposed upon his former wives if they so much as breathed a word on how sick an individual Trump is. Multiple bankruptcies that have destroyed businesses and inflicted untold financial misery upon thousands of people. Again, where the details of his malfeasance and ineptitude are hidden by nondisclosure agreements or other legal mechanisms designed to hide what a dirtbag Trump is.
He’s been involved in, and has initiated well over a thousand lawsuits when the average person will never even be involved in one for their entire life..There’s something to be gleaned from that bit of trivia..and you can rest assured it’s not a positive for Trump.
When you walk the path of life and have to cover your tracks in secrecy and denial that’s a very good indication that you haven’t been walking in the paths of righteousness.

Given that the Republicans serve their 1% masters, how is it that they are able to get any of their candidates elected? Do a little research and you will find that republican administrations are disastrous to our economy time after time. The fact that the vote count is carried out by privately owned entities without any oversight is licensed election theft. Now look another idiot loose in the white house! The only candidate qualified, Bernie Sanders, was forced out. What we need to know is why and how. Threatened by the FBI? Anthrax in the mail? Airplane crash? Suicide by Tylenol?
